Slot studio BF Games has released Honey Beast, a honey-badger-themed title, and tied the launch to an animal welfare gesture. The game went live on 7 October 2026, and the studio symbolically adopted a pair of honey badgers at Exmoor Zoo in North Devon.

The animals, known as Mr and Mrs Stoffel, are named after a honey badger that became well known online for elaborate escape attempts filmed at a South African wildlife sanctuary. The adoption fee helps cover their daily upkeep. According to the source, the pair arrived at the zoo more than a year before their escape-proof enclosure was completed in 2022, with keepers using puzzles and food devices to keep them occupied. The initiative came from Radosław Biernat, Head of Marketing at BF Games, who said the team could not resist supporting a real-life duo with the same energetic personality as the game's hero, and described the adoption as a thank-you to the keepers.

On the technical side, Honey Beast uses a 6-reel, 4-row layout with 4,096 ways to win and medium volatility. The maximum win is 5,525x the stake. The standard RTP is 96.32%, and operators can configure versions at 94.18% and 92.32%.

The central mechanic is the Collector, which adds up the value of each bonus symbol visible on the reels. Coin symbols pay up to 10x the stake, while Reward symbols come in Minor (25x), Major (250x) and Grand (2,500x) tiers. Both types can land in the base game and in the bonus round. If two Collector symbols appear at once, each triggers independently and the wins are combined.

The Honey Money Games bonus round is triggered by three Scatter symbols and awards 2, 3, 5 or 7 free spins, chosen at random. Only Collector, Coin and Reward symbols appear during those spins. Players can also reach the round through Extra Chance, which doubles the likelihood of triggering it for an extra 20% of the stake without changing base game combinations, or through a Buy Feature that grants direct access.

Piotr Sałuda, Chief Product Officer at BF Games, said the clear Collector mechanic, multiple routes to the bonus and the 5,525x maximum win make the title one operators can promote with confidence. BF Games operates under the Bee-Fee group, which has supplied gaming platforms and land-based slot products across Europe since 2013, and its portfolio includes more than 100 titles. Honey Beast is available now through the studio's catalogue.
