DATA.BET signs Africa-focused SportsDay to a full sportsbook deal as 2026 expansion continues

DATA.BET will supply SportsDay with its full sportsbook iFrame solution, including Managed Trading Services, covering more than 100 disciplines. The deal comes as the supplier enters the final quarter of an active 2026.

Sports data and trading provider DATA.BET has signed a partnership with SportsDay, an operator focused on the African market. SportsDay will use the supplier's full sportsbook iFrame solution, which includes Managed Trading Services (MTS) for round-the-clock odds and risk management, along with a Single Page Application.

Under the agreement, DATA.BET will provide odds and data across traditional sports, esports and virtual sports. The feed covers more than 100 disciplines, over 3,000 betting markets and 100,000 events each month. The package also includes a bet builder and a set of widgets, among them a pitch tracker, scoreboards and other sports displays. According to the announcement, these features are underpinned by DATA.BET's partnership with sportstech and sports data company Genius Sports.

Ajimuda Timilehin, Head of Marketing at SportsDay and Halla Gaming, said the supplier's technology and sports data expertise would complement the operator's aim of offering engaging and innovative sports experiences to its users. He added that SportsDay looks forward to a strong and mutually beneficial partnership.

Otto Bonning, Head of Sales at DATA.BET, said the agreement reflects the company's approach to expanding its offering in the African market. He noted that the deal covers the full solution, from trading through to the user-facing experience.

The agreement arrives as DATA.BET moves into the fourth quarter of what the company describes as a highly active 2026. Earlier in the year it signed new partnerships, including one helping South Africa's Hollywood Bets make its esports betting debut, and added new product verticals. One of its most notable announcements was an entry into prediction markets, a move prompted by growing B2B demand as more betting operators look to benefit from the expansion seen at platforms such as Kalshi and Polymarket.
