The latest Mega Millions drawing, held on Tuesday, produced two seven-figure Match 5 winners but no jackpot winner. A player in New Jersey and one in Florida each matched all five white numbers without the gold Mega Ball. The New Jersey player won $2 million on a 2x multiplier, while the Florida player received $3 million on a 3x multiplier.

Three further players matched four white numbers plus the Mega Ball and won five-figure prizes. Two of them took $20,000 each with a 2x multiplier, and the third won $30,000 with a 3x multiplier.

The winning numbers were 26, 32, 42, 51 and 54, with the gold Mega Ball 22. The jackpot stood at $345 million at the time of the draw, with a cash option of $139.6 million. Because no ticket matched all six numbers, the top prize rises to $364 million for the next draw, with a lump-sum option of $147.3 million. That draw is scheduled for Friday, October 9.

Recent drawings have also produced large second-tier prizes. The previous draw on October 2 had no jackpot winner but awarded a $4 million Match 5 prize to a player in Wisconsin. Before that, a player in Colorado who was playing for the $261 million jackpot on September 22 missed the top prize and won $2 million instead.

The Powerball jackpot is also climbing and is approaching the $500 million mark. Its most recent draw produced a $2 million Match 5 winner in Louisiana. The next Powerball drawing was due later on the day of the report, with $485 million at stake.
