OpenBet completes Loterie Romande sportsbook migration as it targets state lottery operators

OpenBet has completed a platform migration for Loterie Romande, the state lottery serving Switzerland's six French-speaking cantons. The move transfers the lottery's existing omnichannel sportsbook product fully onto OpenBet's own technology.

The product in question is JouezSport, which covers online betting, self-service terminals and over-the-counter wagering. It is available across 2,350 point-of-sale retail locations. Services provided as part of the arrangement include managed trading services, AI-enhanced odds and risk management, and a trading system platform.

The migration is described by OpenBet as a key milestone in its ambition to become the sportsbook platform of choice for members of the World Lottery Association (WLA), a group that includes Loterie Romande. Lottery operators were identified as a specific target market when the company entered a new phase in March 2025. That year a management buyout took OpenBet in its own direction after a period of ownership by Endeavor Group Holdings, before that company was rebranded as WWE Holdings.

The agreement with Loterie Romande was signed in March 2026, a year after the buyout. The migration therefore follows the deal by several months.
