Slotmill releases Ribs' Golden Crypt, a Halloween slot with 10,000x maximum win

Game provider Slotmill has released Ribs' Golden Crypt, a Halloween-themed slot built around a skeleton character called Ribs. The studio lists a base RTP of 96.01%, with an alternative configuration at 94.03%. Volatility is rated very high and the maximum win is capped at 10,000x the stake. Bets range from 0.20 to 100.

The game is played on a grid of six rows and six reels and has no paylines. Wins are formed by clusters of five or more identical symbols. Winning symbols are removed from the grid and new ones drop in, which can produce chains of consecutive wins. Each chained spin that includes a cluster win also places a Wild symbol in a random empty position.

The theme follows Ribs, a golden-armored skeleton who has lost his keys. Other graveyard characters appear as symbols, including slimes, ghosts, bats and carved pumpkins, while Ribs himself is a high-paying symbol. Giant Symbols carrying multipliers of up to 10x can land on the grid, and Multiplier Meteors can add multipliers of up to 100x.

The keys serve as the Bonus symbols. Landing three, four or five of them triggers a free spins round with 8, 10 or 12 spins respectively. During the round the Win Multiplier persists, so it can build up from spin to spin.

Slotmill also says it has responded to player feedback by adding three optional features. Burst Mode is an enhanced auto-play setting that completes two rounds per second. Fast Track lets players trigger the bonus features directly and tailor how they play. Xtra-Bet lets players increase their stake in order to improve their chances of triggering free spins.

The release continues a trend of seasonal slot launches from studios timed for the Halloween period, combining cluster mechanics, multiplier systems and speed-oriented play options.
