Pragmatic Play releases Cheetah Wild, a safari-themed 1,024-way slot with a 5,000x maximum win

Pragmatic Play has added a new title to its catalogue with Cheetah Wild, a slot themed around African wildlife. The game is built on a five-reel, four-row grid with 1,024 ways to win, and offers a maximum payout of 5,000x the stake.

According to the published specifications, Cheetah Wild has a return to player of 96.50% and low volatility. Bets range from 0.20 to 240. Symbols include elephants, zebras, rhinoceroses and gazelles.

Wild symbols can land on reels two to four and substitute to help form winning combinations. They also carry multipliers of up to 3x, which apply to any win they take part in. The cheetah acts as the Money symbol and can appear on every reel except the first, with values of up to 100x the base bet. To be paid, these values require a golden paw Collect symbol to land on the first reel. When Collect symbols land on reel one next to adjacent Money symbols in a left-to-right chain, the values of all the Money symbols are paid.

The bonus round is triggered by three to five Scatter symbols and awards between 8 and 20 free spins. Landing two to five further scatters during the feature adds 5 to 20 extra spins. During free spins, Level Up symbols are collected on a meter, and once enough have been gathered they are all replaced by Money symbols. Players can unlock up to five progressive feature levels, each turning a different set of high-paying symbols into Money symbols for the rest of the round.

For markets where it is permitted, a Buy Feature option lets players purchase the Free Spins round for 100x the bet, or Super Free Spins for 500x the bet.

The launch follows other recent releases from the studio, including Gates of Olympus 2500, a new entry in its flagship Gates of Olympus franchise, and Freya 1000, which drew on Norse mythology.
