Game provider Light & Wonder has released Huff N' Puff Haunted Mansion, a new title in its Huff N' Puff franchise. The game takes the series in a darker direction, with a Halloween setting built around pumpkin lanterns and pigs dressed as ghosts, skeletons, zombies and serial killers. A haunted mansion forms the backdrop, and the game uses a spooky soundtrack and evil laughter during its bonus rounds.

The slot is played on a 5-reel, 3-row grid with 243 paylines. Its listed RTP is 96% and volatility is medium. Bets range from 0.20 to 200, and the maximum win is 5,600x the stake. Symbols pay anywhere on the grid once enough of them appear, so players do not need to follow fixed paylines.

Before a base game spin starts, the Mystery Stacked Reels feature can randomly select positions and turn them into one of three high-paying pig symbols. The Big Bad Wolf acts as the Wild symbol and also plays a major part at the end of the bonus rounds. In the base game, a Ghost Pig symbol can land over any number of reels. Collecting six or more Pumpkin symbols triggers a Free Spins round of six spins, and if a Ghost Pig was present at activation, an extra Pumpkin is awarded. During the feature the Ghost Pig can award more Pumpkins, each of which grants white bone frames.

Scatter symbols can trigger the Haunted Mansion feature. It may award an instant prize of up to 4,000x, one of four jackpots, or one of the bonus games. The Torch-Up, Halloween and Graveyard features each begin with six spins but work differently. Torch-Up torches 2 to 5 reel positions and grants up to two bony frames, with more added whenever pumpkins land. The Halloween feature adds an extra row and places bony frames on 5 to 10 random positions before the spins start.

The Graveyard feature can be reached through the Haunted Mansion feature or through Bonus symbols. When Bonus symbols trigger it, their positions receive gold frames; otherwise three random positions are selected. Frames can be upgraded from white to red and from red to gold. At the end, each marked position spawns a coffin revealing a prize matching its tier. White coffins hold 0.5x to 1.5x, red coffins 1.5x to 5x or the Minor or Mini jackpot, and gold coffins 7.5x to 75x, a Minor or Mini jackpot, or a bonus symbol.
