Scientific Games wins two Gaming Intelligence North America Awards for lottery and iLottery games
Scientific Games took Lottery Game of the Year and iLottery Game of the Year at the 2026 Gaming Intelligence North America Awards, for titles built with the Massachusetts State Lottery and the Pennsylvania Lottery.
Scientific Games has received two honours at the Gaming Intelligence North America Awards 2026, winning both Lottery Game of the Year and iLottery Game of the Year. Each award recognises a game the company developed in partnership with a US state lottery.
The Lottery Game of the Year title went to the $500,000 FRENZY, an instant scratch game created with the Massachusetts State Lottery. The iLottery Game of the Year award went to THE GUS GAME SHOW, developed with the Pennsylvania Lottery.
The $500,000 FRENZY is a $50 ticket with 50 top prizes of $500,000 each. Scientific Games says it was designed around a win-often approach intended to give players reasons to return. The game includes Fast Cash instant wins of $100, $500 and $2,000, multipliers of up to 500x, and a 10-second chance drawing offering up to 38 chances to win. It launched on May 12, 2026, and had generated more than $108 million in sales by the time the company announced the award.
THE GUS GAME SHOW is described as a digital stage for a beloved lottery mascot. According to the company, the game has delivered consistent engagement and held player interest, making it a distinctive and high-impact addition to the Pennsylvania Lottery's portfolio. No sales figures for the title were provided.
Matt Lynch, Scientific Games' Chief Player Experience Officer, said the wins show how collaboration can turn new ideas into strong performance that supports lottery beneficiary programs. He said the awards recognise the game design, player insights and creative storytelling behind the products. Lynch also congratulated both lotteries on the shared achievements and pointed to a fresh approach to retail scratch game prize structures as one example of what the partnerships can produce.
