Game provider BGaming is preparing a second Halloween release, Spider Circus Hold and Win, which is due to go live on 19 October. The title follows the recent launch of Chicken Halloween and continues the studio's focus on seasonal slots.

The game is played on a grid of five reels and four rows, with between 20 and 100 paylines. Players can choose from presets of 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 lines, and more active lines raise the minimum bet. Stakes range from 0.20 to 50. The slot has an RTP of 97%, medium volatility and a maximum win of 5,000x.

The theme is a sinister circus overrun by spiders. Traditional fruit symbols have been given a Halloween treatment: the orange appears in a clown costume, the cherries are witches and the watermelon is a vampire. The pumpkin, eggplant, pepper and broccoli are depicted as undead creatures. The spider manager, Sir Quintus, is the symbol that triggers the Hold & Win feature.

Other special symbols include a clown acting as the Scatter, a web-covered 7 serving as the Wild, and a Wheel of Fortune symbol. A wild that lands on reels two to four and forms part of a winning combination expands to cover the whole reel. Scatters pay anywhere on the board, regardless of paylines.

Six or more Spider symbols start the Hold & Win Bonus. Players receive three respins and collect only spiders, along with occasional Wheel of Fortune or Jackpot symbols. Each time at least one spider lands, the respin counter resets to three. Filling 10, 15 or 20 spider positions triggers modifiers, including Spider values, Prize symbols, Collect symbols and multipliers of x2 to x3. The bonus round also features three multiplier positions.

A Buy Bonus option lets players enter the feature directly. The release date places the slot in the run-up to Halloween.
