A woman was robbed at gunpoint in the parking garage of Live! Casino in South Philadelphia, according to reports on the incident. Four masked and armed attackers took her purse, which held $4,000 in cash, and fled the scene.

The robbery took place shortly before midnight on Thursday. The victim was shaken but not physically harmed. She returned to her vehicle and alerted both the police and the casino. No information has been released about the identities of the attackers.

The robbers escaped in a white Honda Accord. The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that all four were men wearing ski masks, and that the getaway vehicle had been reported stolen in New Jersey.

The garage had already been the scene of violence a day earlier. On Wednesday, a man was stabbed twice after a fight broke out, and the attacker left in a dark-colored Infiniti SUV. Police do not currently believe the Wednesday stabbing and the Thursday robbery are connected.

Media outlets have covered these and similar incidents amid what is described as a city-wide pattern of crime in Philadelphia during the early hours of the morning. According to the Inquirer, people who target casino patrons look for those who appear to be carrying larger sums of money, which is common among visitors who come to play with bigger amounts.

No arrests have been reported so far.
