Hacksaw Gaming brings Smokey back as a vampire in Halloween-timed slot Le Vampire

Hacksaw Gaming has released Le Vampire, a gothic-themed cluster slot that features its recurring character Smokey, ahead of Halloween. The title went live on October 1.

Smokey first appeared as a French raccoon bandit and has since taken on other roles in the provider's catalogue, including a miner, a hooligan, a tourist and an Irishman. In this game he is a vampire in search of immortality so that he can keep his treasure forever. He greets players with "Bonsoir" rather than his usual "Bonjour".

The game runs on a grid of six reels and five rows, with wins formed by clusters of at least five symbols. Winning symbols are removed and replaced through the Super Cascades feature. Symbols follow the vampire theme and include canine teeth, skulls, crosses and old pistols. The listed return-to-player options are 97%, 96%, 94%, 92% and 86%. Volatility is medium, bets range from 0.05 to 50, and the maximum win is 15,000x.

The Golden Cascades feature marks winning positions with Golden Squares. A Rainbow symbol triggers all the frames and reveals a special symbol, such as a coin in bronze, silver, gold or diamond, a green or gold clover, or a bag or pot of gold. Epic Rainbow symbols work in a similar way but can also start Blood Rain, which turns grid positions into Blood Squares. These behave like Golden Squares but cannot award Bronze Coins.

Clover symbols activate once all squares are filled and multiply the values of existing coins, bags and pots. Green Clovers affect only adjacent cells, while Gold Clovers affect the whole play area. Bags collect nearby coins and store their total, and Pots of Gold work similarly but also gather Bags of Gold and other pots.

The main bonus, Coffin Break, is triggered by three FS symbols and awards 10 free spins, with Golden and Blood Squares staying in place until activated or until the round ends. A Symbol Bar tracks collected symbols, which can be upgraded to Epic versions for extra spins. Four FS symbols trigger Love at First Bite, where squares stay in place even after activation.
