The Mega Millions top prize went unclaimed again on Tuesday, 13 October, pushing the jackpot past the $400 million mark. The drawing had a $385 million jackpot at stake, and no player matched all six numbers.

The winning white balls were 11, 12, 15, 40 and 66, and the gold Mega Ball was 17. Nobody matched all five white numbers, so there was no Match 5 prize winner either.

Several players still won five-figure sums by matching four white numbers plus the Mega Ball. The largest payout from the drawing was $40,000, won by one player with a 4x multiplier. One player won $30,000 with a 3x multiplier, and five players each won $20,000 with a 2x multiplier.

The next jackpot is estimated at $403 million, with the following drawing scheduled for Friday, 16 October. A winner could choose between the full amount paid as an annuity or a one-time lump sum of $162.1 million.

Earlier Match 5 prizes were won last week, when a player in New Jersey took $2 million and a player in Florida took $3 million. Before that, a player in Wisconsin won a $4 million Match 5 prize.

The jackpot has not been won for some time. The most recent top prize was claimed in July by a player in Florida, who won $800 million. Meanwhile, the Powerball jackpot has reached $562 million ahead of its own drawing on Wednesday.
