The Powerball jackpot has grown to $687 million, with a cash value of $294.7 million, for the drawing on Monday, October 26. The increase follows Saturday's draw, in which nobody won the top prize.

Saturday's drawing was played for a jackpot of $665 million, with a cash value of $285.2 million. The winning numbers on October 24 were 4, 5, 15, 19 and 55, with a red Powerball of 19. The Power Play multiplier was 2x. No ticket matched all six numbers, and no player matched the five white numbers needed for a Match 5 prize, which had been a frequent occurrence in recent weeks.

About 30 players did win tier-three prizes by matching four white numbers plus the Powerball. Twenty-five of them are eligible to claim $50,000 each. Five others had the Power Play option active and can claim $100,000 each.

If Monday's drawing also produces no jackpot winner, the top prize could pass $700 million, and the cash option could reach $300 million.

Several large prizes were won in the days and weeks before Saturday's draw. In the October 21 drawing, a player in New Jersey won $1 million. The same drawing produced two Match 5 wins with Power Play active, each worth $2 million. Earlier, a player in Michigan won $1 million, shortly after a $1 million prize went to a player in Maryland.
