Sportsbook supplier BETBY has said its gross gaming revenue grew 33.4% year on year in the third quarter of 2026. The result followed the end of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which the company named as one of the main contributors.

Player activity rose sharply over the period. Active players increased by 82.7%, while the total number of bets placed climbed 31.9%. Besides the football tournament, BETBY pointed to its proprietary esports feed, BETBY Games, and to what it described as strong activity across its expanding operator network as the company continues to grow internationally.

BETBY Games, the esports product, recorded a 32.2% year-on-year increase in GGR. The number of bets on the product rose 45.4%, and its active player count grew by 123.3%.

The Malta-based company also moved into Poland during the quarter, through partnerships with Lebull Poland and Betters. According to BETBY, the timing of the entry meant it had only a limited effect on third-quarter results. It also introduced SlotBets, a product that sits between casino and sports betting. The company describes it as unique, built around 15-second rounds tied directly to live sporting events. As the impact of the Polish launch and the new product has yet to be fully felt, the sportsbook and esports offerings carried most of the quarter's growth.

Chief Executive Officer Leonid Pertsovskiy said the company was very pleased with its performance, singling out the rise in active players across both the sportsbook and BETBY Games. He said it was encouraging to see product work translate into consistent results. He added that what matters most is maintaining that consistency over time, rather than a single strong quarter. Pertsovskiy said the company has set ambitious goals, acknowledged that much work remains, and expressed confidence in its ability to keep delivering for partners and to finish the year on a strong note.
