A single ticket has won the Illinois Lotto jackpot of $7.4 million in the draw held on Monday, October 26. The winner has yet to come forward and must present the ticket at the lottery's headquarters to claim the prize.

The ticket was purchased at a BP gas station at 6751 W. Archer Avenue in Chicago. It matched all six winning numbers: 6, 12, 13, 14, 30 and 42.

The store's manager, identified only as Abraham, said he was delighted by the news. "I can't believe it — it's so exciting to have a jackpot-winning ticket sold right here at our store. I hope it was one of our regulars," he said. He added that he has managed the location for nearly 20 years and that the shop sold a $100,000 Lucky Day Lotto ticket a few months earlier, calling this "our lucky year." He said the new prize is the largest jackpot ever won at his store.

The retailer will also benefit from the sale. Under the lottery's selling bonus, the store receives 1% of the prize value, which in this case comes to $74,000. Abraham said the community was pleased to see such a win happen locally, noting that a stop at a neighborhood gas station can turn into something life-changing.

The prize is the third-largest Illinois Lotto jackpot of 2026. Two earlier wins were bigger: an $11.6 million jackpot from a ticket sold at a True North in Bartlett on January 24, and a $10.25 million prize from a ticket sold at Tony's Fresh Market in Chicago for the August 1 drawing.
