Aristocrat's Monopoly Big Board Bucks slot expands to Class II casinos after Slot of the Year win
Aristocrat Gaming will offer its Monopoly Big Board Bucks slot in Class II markets across the US, following the title's Slot of the Year award at the Global Gaming Awards Americas during G2E in Las Vegas.
Aristocrat Gaming has confirmed that its Monopoly Big Board Bucks slot will be rolled out to Class II casino markets across the United States. The announcement follows the game's Slot of the Year award at the Global Gaming Awards Americas, held during the G2E industry event in Las Vegas.
The expansion widens the game's reach to venues operating under a different regulatory framework from traditional Class III casino gaming. As a general rule, Class II gaming is tied to bingo-based games and is usually found at tribal casinos, while Class III typically covers casino-style games such as standard slots.
Kurt Gissane, Aristocrat Gaming's chief commercial officer for the Americas, called the recognition "an incredible honor and a testament to our team's commitment to creating memorable player experiences." He said the company looked forward to expanding the game's reach, pointing to its gameplay, bonus features and performance on casino floors. The source also notes that Aristocrat refinanced its debt facilities for a total of $1.85 billion at the end of April.
The title first appeared at Yaamava' Resort & Casino in California in April 2026. It was the first game released under the company's newly awarded multiyear licensing partnership with Hasbro. Chief executive officer Craig Toner said he was "incredibly proud" to see the company's first MONOPOLY title make its debut on casino floors, and described the journey as one of energy and excitement.
The slot is based on the classic board game and has players accompany Mr. Monopoly around the board, collecting prizes, properties, houses and hotels. Its design draws on familiar elements such as selectable tokens, Free Parking and the game board itself.
The core mechanic combines three metamorphic elements: Extra Spins, Extra Properties and Extra Houses. These can show up alone, in pairs or all together, and they build toward the Big Board Bucks Bonus. In that round, players can win rewards across the board, including money bags, properties, houses and hotels, along with Free Parking and the GO Jackpot Wheel.
Aristocrat is offering the game on its Baron Portrait cabinet, which has a configuration designed specifically for the title and several signage options for operators. The Class II release gives the company another route to bring a branded slot to a broader range of gaming venues.
