St8, a casino games aggregator and full-service technology provider, has released updated usage figures for its back-office AI assistant built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The data was published on 26 October 2026 and covers 19 July to 11 October 2026.

According to the company, a focus group of operator partners generated 10,358 AI-handled queries and actions over 13 weeks. Weekly volume increased 91%, from 490 queries in the first week to 935 in the week commencing 11 October. Across the window from 16 August to 4 October, weekly queries climbed 128%, from 426 to 972. St8 says lower weekend activity followed by a Monday rebound indicates the tool is used for back-office work rather than by players.

The weekly series includes an outlier of 2,679 queries in the week of 2 August. In an earlier interim release on 29 September 2026, St8 attributed that spike to operators gathering monthly reports and invoice data rather than a lasting change in behaviour. The final two weeks of the period totalled 1,907 queries with no reported service disruption, which the company presents as evidence of capacity under load.

Operators use natural-language queries to retrieve reports, check game configurations and flag issues instead of navigating dashboards manually. The integration works with large language models including ChatGPT and Gemini, and it applies St8's existing permission hierarchy so connected AI tools can reach only authorised data. MCP is an open standard introduced by Anthropic in November 2024 and later adopted by OpenAI, Google and Microsoft.

St8 demonstrated the assistant at SBC Summit Lisbon in September 2026 and reported that AI query activity rose by more than 50% in the weeks after the event compared with the week before. Those figures relate to the same focus group rather than new adopters. The data is self-reported and drawn from a defined group, which limits how far it can be generalised, though it is among the few sets of operator-level MCP usage figures from iGaming.

Vlad Negine, CEO at St8, said the data offers encouraging signs and that the upward trajectory shows the MCP has a positive effect on operational efficiency. St8 offers operators more than 21,000 games from over 220 providers through a single API and holds B2B supplier licences in markets including the UK, Malta, Romania, the Isle of Man, Sweden and Alberta.
