Pragmatic Play has released Sweet Loot, a pirate-themed video slot that pairs a scatter-pays grid with a dedicated multiplier row. The title went live globally on 29 October 2026. The source describes the game as a departure from the supplier's usual scatter-pays format, in a sub-genre of candy-style grid slots that has grown crowded this year as several major suppliers issue sequels and variants.

The base game uses a scatter-pays mechanic, with wins awarded when eight or more matching symbols appear anywhere on the grid. A horizontal reel sits above reels two to five, and its symbols can carry multiplier overlays of up to 500x. When a winning combination forms, the multiplier values present in it are added together and applied to the total win for the spin. The slot has an RTP of 96.53%, medium volatility and a hit frequency of about 28%.

The bonus game is triggered by four to six scatters and awards between 10 and 30 free spins, along with an instant cash prize of up to 2,000x. During the feature, at least one multiplier overlay is guaranteed on every spin, and three more scatters landing in the round add five extra spins.

A second mode, Super Free Spins, starts when Super Scatters are part of the triggering combination. In this version, all four symbols on the horizontal top row carry a multiplier overlay, which raises the potential multiplier contribution on each spin.

Availability is staggered in some jurisdictions. Spain, Greece, Italy, Peru and Romania are subject to staged rollouts, and the game is scheduled to arrive in Romania on 26 November 2026.

Sharon McHugh, Director of Public Relations at Pragmatic Play, said the studio wanted to give the game a distinctive personality, with a cast of gummy pirates on a treasure-hunting adventure. She said the horizontal reel adds an interesting dimension, with changing multiplier values building anticipation as each tumble unfolds.

Sweet Loot follows other recent Pragmatic Play releases, including Big Bass Halloween Splash 1000, which launched on 12 October 2026, and Sweet Bonanza POP. The company is a Gibraltar-headquartered B2B content supplier to iGaming operators, holding licences from the Gambling Commission of Great Britain, the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner and the Malta Gaming Authority.
