Pennsylvania Lottery warns three unclaimed prizes worth nearly $2M are close to expiring
The Pennsylvania Lottery is reminding players to check old tickets, as three unclaimed prizes totaling almost $2 million, led by a $1 million Millionaire Raffle win, will expire between mid-December and the end of 2026.
The Pennsylvania Lottery has issued a reminder asking players to check any tickets they have set aside, because three sizeable prizes worth almost $2 million in total remain unclaimed and will soon lapse.
The biggest of the three is a $1 million prize from the Millionaire Raffle. The winning ticket was sold by Harvest Moon at 535 Arch St. in Williamsport, Lycoming County, and the draw took place on January 3, 2026. Its holder has until December 31, 2026 to come forward, after which no further prizes can be claimed.
The second-largest prize is a $770,000 Cash 5 win. That ticket was sold at a Giant Eagle at 1671 Butler Plank Road in Shaler Township, Allegheny County. The deadline for claiming it is December 21, 2026.
The third is a $200,000 prize on a Powerball with Power Play ticket, sold at Rutter's, 2800 Vine St., Londonderry Township, Dauphin County. Its owner has until December 15, 2026 to claim the money.
Under the lottery's rules, any winning ticket must be claimed within one year of the year of the draw. Prizes that are not claimed in that window are automatically forfeited. The lottery regularly publishes notices of this kind to encourage players to check older tickets before the deadlines pass.
As of the announcement, none of the three prizes had been claimed, and all are due to expire within the next two months.
